The report highlights the Council’s priorities for the upcoming 2024-2025 year, including areas such as least restrictive environment, special education staffing, student voice in education, and restraint and seclusion and social/emotional mental health.
Recommendations are provided for each priority area, such as additional funding and training for inclusive practices, increased compensation and incentives for special education professionals, and promoting student voice and participation.
